Easy OKR Launches a Free Plan for Small Teams
Starting today, small teams can get going with Easy OKR at no cost. We built a free plan specifically for organizations who are just starting to explore OKRs and want to try the framework properly before committing budget to it. It is small in scope by design, and it will always be available for teams getting started.
Why We Built a Free Plan
Our whole reason for building Easy OKR was to remove the friction that keeps small teams from adopting OKRs in the first place. Most of the OKR tools on the market are priced and built for large enterprise buyers. That leaves a real gap for the startups, small businesses, and non-technical teams who most need a simple way to learn the framework, not a complex platform with a steep learning curve and an even steeper price tag.
A free plan closes that gap further. It means a small team can create their first Objectives and Key Results, run their first weekly check-in, and see whether OKRs actually work for how they operate, without needing to get budget approval first. As Harvard Business Review's research on freemium pricing points out, a genuinely useful free tier is often what lets people try a product properly before committing budget to it, rather than a stripped-down demo built only to push a sale.
Who It's For
The free plan is aimed squarely at small teams getting started with OKRs for the first time: early-stage startups, small businesses, and anyone experimenting with the framework before rolling it out more broadly. It is built to be genuinely useful at this stage, not a crippled trial meant to push you into paying quickly. As a team grows and needs more from the platform, our paid plans are there to support that, but there is no pressure to move before you are ready.
What You Can Expect
Everything that makes Easy OKR easy to use from day one is available on the free plan: fast setup, clear Objective and Key Result writing, and straightforward progress tracking through regular check-ins. It is scoped for a small team getting started, not for running a organization-wide rollout across dozens of departments, but for the audience it is built for, it is a complete, genuinely usable OKR tool, not a stripped-down demo.
Our Commitment to Simplicity
This launch reflects the same philosophy behind everything else we build: OKRs should be easy to learn and easy to stick with, and cost should never be the reason a small team never gets to try. We built Easy OKR because we believe the framework itself is genuinely useful, well beyond the enterprise organizations it is usually marketed to, and a free plan is the most direct way to make sure that any team, regardless of budget, can find out for themselves.
Get Started
If you have been curious about OKRs but held off because of cost or complexity, now is a good time to try. Sign up, create your first Objective, and see how it fits your team. If you are new to the framework itself, our other posts on OKR basics are a good place to start alongside the free plan.
